It is proposed that Metro's redevelopment plans will also fund significant improvements to Clapham Junction station to improve access, to increase capacity and enhance the passenger experience.
The proposals will:

Create a new dedicated station entrance on St John's Hill, incorporating the Brighton Building.

Improve access between the new ticket hall and footbridge levels with a new bank of escalators.
|

|
Provide a new station entrance and ticket hall on Grant Road.
|

Further improve access from station entrances to platforms and ease congestion by using the bridge as the route for passengers to enter and leave the station. The underpass would be used only for platform interchange.

•
|
Improve disabled access to station.
|
|
•
|
Improvements to the station to help facilitate the extension of the East London Line to Clapham Junction.
