At the heart of the Clapham Junction proposals is a new place to shop and relax. This will provide:

A new pedestrian street linking St John’s Hill and Falcon Road to the new station entrance.

The street will have two levels of retail offering a wide range of shopping that is complementary to existing local retail and which will help retain more shoppers locally.

A landscaped public piazza with space for open air cafes, bars and seating.
|

A new island building that will create new shop frontages along St John’s Hill which will complement the Falcon Pub and the conservation area, and provide two levels of retail along the south side of the new pedestrian street.

Surrounding and permeating through the site will be a stunning new public realm.

New roof top gardens will be created above the retail development. The new gardens, on a par with the Kensington Roof Gardens, will provide an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of Clapham Junction.

A new art house style cinema, new public toilets, and a medical centre.
